This Position:
As a member of the Youth In Need Human Resources team, this position will provide human resources generalist support for all HR functions for University City Children's Center/Lume Institute. This includes engaging staff and making recommendations to align all HR policies, procedures and employee handbooks. Train and support staff in implementation of updated policies/procedures/handbooks. Provide support to the compensation, payroll and benefit functions while providing excellent customer service to staff. Lead all recruitment and hiring processes. Responsible for employee relations, including bringing all staff concerns to resolution and coaching management with performance issues. Lead the integration project to onboard all UCCC/Lume staff.
We are interested in someone with a Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field with a minimum of 2-3 years' human resources generalist experience. Knowledge of human resources best practices and a strong foundational knowledge of all local, state and federal employment laws is required.
The position is full time, temporary, for one year, it is a salaried position starting at $62,400/year. This role is hybrid with a mix of onsite and remote work.
