As an Accounting Director, you will serve as a leader in Youth In Need's Accounting department. Ultimately responsible for the full end-to-end accounting activities, you'll focus not only on day-to-day responsibilities, but also areas that require reporting, process improvement, and driving performance and efficiencies whilst maintaining financial controls.

Youth In Need has been around since 1974 helping to create safe places for the area's most vulnerable children. We have more than 400 full- and part-time staff who serve more than 8,000 children, teens and families at nearly 100 locations in six counties in Eastern Missouri.

This Position:

We are interested in Senior Directors of Accounting with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related area.

You should have a minimum of 5 years of Accounting experience in all aspects, including cash, receivables, payables, fixed assets, general ledger and financial statement preparation. This role requires leadership abilities, excellent communication and organizational skills. We're looking for someone with the ability to work independently with little direction.

This is a salaried position, with pay starting between $95,000 and $100,000, depending upon experience. The role will be 75% office-based and 25% remote.
